learning about abnormal psychology makes me feel a little psychotic sometimes. being a year three module, it's really in depth. you have to read through so many details about their symptoms and cases and like my lecturer said whatever the mental illness you learn, you will always wonder if you have the symptoms too. even symptoms of a sex maniac makes me wonder if i am one too. lolx. but dont worry i still have a long way to go. and its a weird feeling when you begin to see sex maniacs as just patients that need help and people have always neglected the kind of help they need because of discrimination. this includes all other kinds of psychological disorders.
if you were disturbed by all the parts about sex maniacs, im really sorry. i've just covered the topic on sexual disoders in school please bear with me.
i have a problem. you know there are always people on the train who pretend to be asleep or pretend to be blind to people who really need the seats more than them. okay, maybe they are really really tired after a day's work and they really need their seats. i can understand.
but what i particularly hate are couples who seem to be talking happily or are just going home from their fantastic shopping trip and they pretend not to see an old lady standing right next to them. old people have brittle bones, do you?! when they fall it's serious, how serious will it be for you?! they get tired and all kinds of pain everywhere easily, do you?! first, if you can be talking happily i dont see why you are that tired or sick not to give up the seat. second, your fantastic shopping trip may be tiring but if you are so weak that you need the seat that much. next time dont go shopping then. third, i think at least the guy should have given up his seat and stop pretending to be asleep! argh @#$%^&*
